A good, solid mystery. I'll definitely look into the other ones in this series. (And it fed my Downton Abbey fixation, although the setting isn't quite as rich.) (And it is still only $1.99 in the Kindle store.)

Have you tried Alan Bradley's series starting with the Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie? Not exactly Downton Abby, but it has got that feel to it. Plus it features a young heroine so it may work as a good young person read.
