So I didn't love this as much as the first two, but I still raced through it and am eager to read the fourth.

My Side of the Mountain by Jean Craighead George

I listened to this for Truman's book group. I really liked it.

The Man from St. Petersburg by Ken Follett

I'm embarrassed to admit that I enjoyed this.

The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo

This was INSANE. I cannot for the life of me understand why this was so popular. This is the craziest thing I have ever heard.

The Story of a New Name by Elena Ferrante

Once again, I was entranced, perhaps even more than with the first book, although I'm not sure exactly why this book was so compelling.

My Brilliant Friend by Elena Ferrante

What Was Mine by Helen Klein Ross

The strength of this book was the portrait of how a seemingly-normal person could convince herself to kidnap a baby. The weakness was the ending (it just sort of ended without resolving much).

My Name Is Lucy Barton by Elizabeth Strout

I kept expecting this to do something that it just didn't do. There are some interesting strands here, but it doesn't hold together.

Sistering by Jennifer Quist

This was quirky. I can't decide if I liked it. It was just . . . uneven. Some aspects were phenomenal but some plot points totally didn't work.
