Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

Mockingjay (The Final Book of The Hunger Games) A captivating book with a reasonably satisfying ending. (Although I wanted her to end up with the other boy. But that probably says something--something not good--about me. . .)

I wanted her to end up with the other boy too, but Collins didn't just let him be rejected, but almost made him into a villan.

Yes! And without that boy's certain character traits, certain very important events in the plot would never have happened. And yet he was punished for that, while Katniss escaped punishment for her many unfavorable traits!

I liked the boy she ended up with. I thought the whole time that rejected boy would be killed.
