This is the best novel that I have read since Brooks' People of the Book . . . The Help completely knocked my socks off. Go read it!

I just looked at this book on amazon and I thought about getting this for my 17 year old daughter. Do you think it would be interesting/appropriate?
I don't want to give too much of the story away, but I think this would be a PG-13 if a movie were made--closer to the PG than the R in terms of appropriateness.
And I thought it was fascinating.
