Hmmm. I'm not sure about this. It was a quick read, it kept my attention, it was funny and horrifying. I'm still playing around in my mind with the ending. I may need to get back to you on this one.
BestBooks is a record of all of the books that I have read since November 2004, with brief descriptions and reviews.

I loved this one--as soon as I get my copy back from my sister I'm going to read it again, but this time knowing the ending. The twist makes it two books, really. Also, I still don't have a definitive handle on why this story "will make you believe in God." So I want to think about that some more as I read, again with the "second" narrative in mind.
I could not enjoy this book. I skipped around. Definitely falls into the manipulative fiction category for me, like Mutant Message Down Under, where the author pretends right from the preface that it is true, but it really is not.
