The management would like to inform you of ways to save money buying books.
(1) www.campusi.com is wonderful. Type in your title or ISBN and you'll get a list of stores carrying the book--with prices, including shipping. This makes it easy to find the lowest price. They include new, used, and auctions, and include all of the big players.
(2) www.half.com is the best bookstore on the Net. To make it better, set up a wishlist. They'll email you if they have a title on your wishlist at a price you want to pay. This is how I keep track of books that I want to read. It is especially good for brand new books, which are hard to find discounted, if you don't mind waiting a few moons to read them.
BestBooks is a record of all of the books that I have read since November 2004, with brief descriptions and reviews.

Amazon's Share the Love program can be of use if you have a group of friends with similar interests. It allows you to send a 10% discount on a book to a friend when you purchase the same book.
The Sonlighters all get together when they're putting together similar orders. Do the WTM crowd do this as well?
If you can use this blog to connect with others, you might be able to get some lovin' going on.
Bryce--
Hmm. It is pretty rare that I pay 90% of the cover price for a book. But that is good to know for future reference.
