I only picked this up because of the frequent comparisons to I Don't Know How She Does It. But this wasn't nearly as funny. I found Bridget to be vaguely pathetic and, no, I haven't seen the movie.

I just read this. Having never been a non-student single person, I didn't relate personally to any of the characters very much. It was entertaining in its own way. I don't think I care to see the movie really.
The treatement of the Smug Marrieds was of some interest to me (obviously). I began to wonder how smug I come off to my few single friends. I generally imagine they think I'm a bit nuts, actually.
