Anxious People by Fredrik Backman

This was so funny.

Oona Out of Order by Margarita Montimore

Decent.

Notes on an Execution by Danya Kukafka

This was an excellent story: I feel like I rarely see social critique handled so well in a novel. There is a lot to think about here as well as an excellent story.

The Appeal by Janice Hallett

Decent.

Belonging by Nora Krug

This was just OK.

Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer

This is one of those view-point altering books that everyone should read.

Cost of Living by Emily Maloney

This should have been good -- given the topic and the author's experiences -- but it just didn't gel.

The Other Bennet Sister by Janice Hadlow

I'm not even a Jane Austen fan, and I loved this.

The Arc by Tory Henwood Hoen

A fun and funny story with an unexpected plot twist. Recommended, if you are into romance.

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

This was just OK.

The Trojan Horse Affair

I don't normally listen to podcasts, but this was mind-blowing.

False Witness by Karen Slaughter

Some interesting elements, some ridiculous ones.

The Overnight Guest by Heather Gudenkauf

Too weird and convoluted.

The Family Chao by Lan Samantha

I'd say this was just OK -- I think maybe it tried to do too many things -- family saga, mystery, personal growth, social commentray.

The Christie Affair by Nina deGramont

Really interesting and well done. A fun, speculative read.

The Woman Next Door by Natasha Boydell

This seemed like it was going to be very predictable, and then . . . . major plot twist. This was good.

OMG, this was so much fun. I literally laughed out loud. Highly recommended for a light, fun read.
