I enjoyed the author's first few books but then I thought some of his later ones were a bit of a drag and disappointment. This is a good one that is close to the quality of "The Firm" and other early works. I wanted to keep reading this so much that I postponed chores so I could keep reading. Then, I almost wanted to read more slowly so as to prolong the enjoyment. In any case, interesting characters, a good plot, and a positive conclusion. Loose ends may have been wrapped up a bit too easily but the trip was well worth the effort.
