You missed this as a kid? HOW? I adored it as a child, and C loved it when she was 5. My second favorite was Ozma of Oz, and I read a few of the others, but they weren't nearly as good as the Wizard of Oz.
My boys and I just finished the 14 Baum original Oz books and we really enjoyed them.
