Loved this review! Although, I have to say, you're pretty generous in the lengths you'll go to before discarding a book. I have a friend who has a 50 page rule: if it doesn't grab her after 50 pages, she puts it in the Goodwill pile. Too many other good books to read, she says, and life is too short.
