Caste by Isabel Wilkerson

Caste (Oprah's Book Club): The Origins of Our Discontents

Easily one of the best books I've ever read. (And since The Warmth of Other Suns was also amazing, that makes Isabel Wilkerson easily one of the best authors.) This is one of those books that everyone should read.

Very interesting.

This was outstanding: very thought-provoking and well-written.

The Sibling Effect by Jeffrey Kluger

The Sibling Effect: What the Bonds among Brothers and Sisters Reveal about Us

Very interesting and very nicely written.

The Bomb Heard around the World by Gregory Marquette

The Bomb Heard Around the World

An interesting story, but not particularly well-told.

Female Firebrands by Mikaela Kiner

Female Firebrands: Stories and Techniques to Ignite Change, Take Control, and Succeed in the Workplace by [Mikaela Kiner]

So if you've never, ever read anything about female empowerment, sexual harassment, working mothers, and intersectionality, this is a great starting place. Otherwise, it's very basic.

Collision on Tenerife by Jon Ziomek

Collision on Tenerife: The How and Why of the World's Worst Aviation Disaster

Very interesting. (I just realized the UPC code on the cover makes zero sense . . .)

Want by Lynn Strong

This just didn't work for me: I need more plot than this.

Grace Will Lead Us Home by Jennifer Berry Hawes

Grace Will Lead Us Home: The Charleston Church Massacre and the Hard, Inspiring Journey to Forgiveness

An excellent, devastating read.

Feasting Wild by Gina Rae La Cerva

Feasting Wild: In Search of the Last Untamed Food

A dull mishmash of a book with a narrator who mispronounced dozens of words.
