I had really low expectations for this book, because I've read a lot about food, and after a while it all starts to sound the same. But this book was different--and fascinating. It isn't "did you know that salt/sugar/fat is bad for you?" but "here's how and why we ended up eating so much salt/sugar/fat." This is one of those books that everyone should read, and that should make everyone mad.
