I can't even tell you how much I loved this. It featured several of my favorite things:
(1) SCOTUS gossip
(2) constitutional law
(3) politics
(4) a progressive outlook
(5) historical context
(6) excellent storytelling and a fine eye for detail.
Oh I love all these historical/political books you come up with. I'd love to read some SCOTUS gossip. I haven't always liked Toobin's analysis of Presidents but I appreciate hearing/reading them.
