I gave up half-way through this book because it was too dark, too vulgar, and too meandering. I don't normally blog about books that I don't finish, but in this case, "half-way through" was 702 pages and I feel like I deserve some credit!

Winter of the World by Ken Follett
I have the same review for this one as I had for the first part of the trilogy: some embarrassment at how much I enjoyed reading what I know to be fluff.
